H&M conscious exclusive: The orange dress

Hier nun der dritte Look gestylt mit Teilen aus der H&M Conscious Exclusive Kollektion: Das orangene Kleid mit Volants. 

Dieses Kleid hat es mir, neben dem Rock, besonders angetan. 

Durch den lässigen Schnitt, lässt es sich sowohl zu einem Abend- aber auch Tageslook stylen. Die verspielten Volant-Details vorne und besonders am Rücken, machen dieses "schlichte" Kleid zu einem echten Hingucker, wie ich finde. 

Gestylt habe ich es daher lässig mit dem Trenchcoat, ebenfalls aus der Conscious Kollektion, braunen Schnürboots und einer Beutel-Tasche mit Animalprint. Als kleines Details habe ich noch einen schmalen Gürtel in der Taille gewickelt, um sie zu betonen. Ich finde es ist ein cooler, femininer City-Look. Oder was würdet ihr sagen?

Here's the third look I styled with pieces from the H&M Conscious Exclusive Collection: The orange volants dress.

This dress was one of my favorite pieces next to "the skirt" :)

And with the casual cut, the dress can be worn as a daytime or night look. One dress for two occasions. ;) The playful volant details, especially in the back make this dress a real eye catcher, or?

I have styled it here in a casual way, with the trench coat, also from the Conscious Collection, brown lace-up boots and a bag with animal print. As a small detail I've wrapped a belt at my waist to accentuate it.

 I think it's a cool, feminine city look. Or what would you say?

Street Food Festival Dortmund: My Outfit + Review

Wie ihr sicherlich wisst, wenn ihr meinem Blog schon etwas länger folgt, habt ihr sicherlich mitbekommen, dass Essen für mich mehr ist als nur eine Nahrungsaufnahme. 

Es macht mir unglaublich viel Spaß mich durch die verschiedenen Küchen dieser Welt zu probieren und neue kulinarische Köstlichkeiten zu entdecken. - Weshalb ich auch Berlin so schätze. 

Aber die Vielfalt unterschiedlicher Essenskulturen dieser Welt an einem Ort versammelt, gibt es nicht nur in Berlin. Das Street Food Festival bietet ebenfalls Gelegenheit sich kulinarisch auszutoben. 

Die Idee dahinter ist "Egal ob Food Truck, Küchenchef oder passionierter Hobby-Koch - hier kommen alle zusammen, die am Herd etwas Besonderes zu bieten haben. Das Street Food Festival vereint diese ganz besonders reizvolle Mischung an einem Ort und lädt dazu ein, internationale Snacks und Gerichte in einem lebhaften Rahmen zu erkunden, zu entdecken und zu genießen."

Da ich es in Düsseldorf leider verpasst habe, nutze ich die Gelegenheit es in Dortmund zu besuchen. 

Letzten Sonntag ging es also zu Kultur Depot in Dortmund, und ich muss sagen wir hatten echt Glück mit dem Wetter, da es Samstag noch so arg geregnet hatte..

Bei strahlendem Sonnenschein und Musik, konnte man sich drin und draussen kulinarisch austoben. - So zumindest die Theorie. Leider war der Outdoor-Bereich von Burger Trucks dominiert, drinnen war es dann schon etwas vielfältiger. 

Insgesamt waren wir bei 4 Ständen, es gab gefüllte Teigtaschen beim Afrikaner, Hummus Variationen beim Libanesen, Ramenburger bei Fräulein Kimchi und einen Smoothie vom "Saftladen". Am meisten hat mir der Ramenburger gefallen, der mit 8€ aber nicht wirklich günstig war. 

Ansonsten muss ich zugeben, war ich etwas enttäuscht, die Preise und Portionen haben oftmals nicht wirklich zueinander gepasst. Einen Besuch ist es aber auf jeden Fall mal wert. Wart ihr schon mal auf so einem Festival? Was waren euere Erfahrungen?

Mein Outfit an dem Tag war ein lässiger Mix auf braunen Fransenboots, Jeansshorts und einem Mickey-Shirt. Ich bin einfach ein riesiger Mickey Fan :D und werde es wohl immer bleiben. :P

As you probably know, if you follow my blog a bit longer, then you have certainly noticed that Food for me is more then only eating.

It makes me incredibly fun to taste my way through the various cuisines of the world and to discover new culinary delights. - This is also a reason why I so in love with Berlin.

But the variety of the different cultures and food of the world, gathered in one place, iyou can find not only in Berlin. A good adress is also the "Street Food Festival" which provides an opportunity to try a lot of culinary delights in one place.

The idea is "Whether Food Truck, chef or a passionate amateur cook - here all come together who have something special to offer. The Street Food Festival unites these most delightful mix in one place and invites to explore and enjoy snacks and dishes in a lively framework."

Since I missed it in Dusseldorf, I take the opportunity to visit it in Dortmund.

So last Sunday we went to Kultur Depot in Dortmund. We were lucky with the weather as it had rained the whole Saturday ..

So with bright sunshine and good music, you could go through the hall or outdoor and discover the variety dishes. Unfortunately, the outdoor area was dominated by Burger Trucks, inside it was a bit more varied with asian or arabic cuisine.

We tried four different snacks/dishes from african-, libanese cuisine, a smoothie, and a Ramenburger. Most I liked was the Ramenburger, but which was with 8€ not really cheap.

I have to admit I was a little disappointed, because the prices and portions were often not really right for each other. 

For me it was a nice experience and was really worth it. 

Have you ever been on such a festival? What were euere experience?

My outfit of the day was a casual mix of brown fringe boots, jean shorts and a Mickey-shirt. I'm just a huge Mickey fan :D and probably will always be. :P

Be different

Hallo ihr Hübschen, 

der Tartanprint begeistert mich schon seit einiger Zeit. - Ich glaube meine erste Faszination für dieses Muster hatte ich nach dem Song "Hit me babylove more time " von Britney Spears :D. Doch wie Britney, ist auch der Print erwachsen geworden: Weg vom Schulmädchenlook hin auf die großen Laufstege dieser Welt, findet man ihm auf Blusen, Blazern oder auch Hosen. Egal wo und wie versprüht er für seitdem für mich immer einen gewissen Glamour. Weit, weit weg von "Hit me Baby One more time". 

Nun bot sich die perfekte Gelegenheit meine geliebte Tartanhose wieder raus zu holen. Anders sollte es nämlich werden, das Outfit, das ich zu meiner neuen Beanie kombinieren werde. Das besondere an ihr ist wohl definitiv der Netzschleier. Der aus einer einfachen Beanie etwas besonderes macht. Genauso wie bei der Hose, erst der Print verleiht ihr dieses gewisse "Etwas", beides zusammen ergibt deshalb für die mich das perfekte Duo. Ein Outfit, das Einerseits lässig, aber gleichzeitig auch sehr elegant ist. Um den eleganten Stil zu verfolgen habe ich meine neuen Stiefelletten von Clarks dazu kombiniert. Sie sind aus butterweichem Leder, schlicht, haben einen kleinen goldenen Reisverschluss an der Seite und sind vor allem suuuper bequem. Was sie zum idealen Begleiter für den Herbst macht. 

Auch wenn einige Passanten etwas irritiert geschaut haben, als wir die Bilder gemacht haben, da ihnen der Schleier wohl etwas suspekt war. Ich liebe diese Mütze.

Hello lovelies,

the tartan print inspired me for a long time time. - I think my first fascination with this pattern, I had after Britney Spears song "Hit me baby one more time" :D. But -like Britney- the print has grown up: away from the schoolgirl look up on the big catwalks of the world. Now you can find it on blouses, blazers or pants. No matter where and how its there is always a certain glamor in this pieces. Far, far away from 'Hit me baby one more time'-Looks.

Now was the perfect opportunity to wear my beloved zara tartan trousers again. I was looking for a good combination I want to combine my new beanie with. The special thing about the beanie is definitely the net veil. Which makes of a simple beanie something special. 

Just like the pants, its the tartan print that gives it that certain "something", thats why they making together the perfect duo.

An outfit that is casual, but also very elegant -like I love it :).. To keept it the elegant style I combined  it with my new "Clarks" boots. They are simple, but with special details like the golden zipper, made from buttery-soft leather and the most important thing: they are so suuuper comfortable. What makes them the ideal companion for fall, too.

The Zara cape

Einer meiner liebsten Trends in diesem Herbst sind definitiv: Capes! Vor einigen Jahren eher zufällig gekauft, weil ich wieder mal die Temperaturen falsch eingeschätzt habe :D sind sie zu meinem Lieblingsteil avanciert. 

Ich finde sie toll, weil sie so leicht zu kombinieren sind, wärmen, stylisch und stilvoll sind. Es gibt tausende Möglichkeiten ein Cape zu tragen - meine liebste Kombi ist natürlich mit Overknees - wie hier oder hier) Aber auch über einem herbstlichen Kleidchen sehen sie toll aus oder mit einer Seidenbluse und Jeans oder über einem oversized Pullover oder, oder, oder... Das ist das tolle an Capes, sie passen immer.. 

Vor einigen Tagen habe ich meine Cape-Sammlung durch ein weiteres Modell erweitert, das ich bei Zara gefunden habe. Ich finde ihn besonders toll, weil er so schön flauschig und warm ist. :}  

Für das Outfit habe ich es mal mit einer anderen Farbe außer schwarz kombiniert: weiß! Generell habe ich das Outfit eher "hell" gehalten: zu der weißen Jeans trage ich einen Cashmerepulli in hellblau, braune Boots und eine weiße Tasche.

One of my favorite trends this fall are definitely: Capes! Bought my first one a few years ago, because I misjudged the temperatures once again :D they have become my favorite piece in autumn-season.

I think they are great because they are so easy to combine, warm and very stylish. There are thousands of ways to wear a cape, I prefer to wear them in combination with overknees - like you can see here or here) But also with a fall-dress or with a silk blouse and jeans or over an oversized sweater, or, or, or ... This is the great thing about capes, they always fit ..

A few days ago my "cape collection" expanded by another model that I've found at Zara. I find it especially great because it is so beautiful fluffy and warm. :}

For the outfit I tried out another color than black: white! Generally, I've kept the outfit more "light": to the white jeans I wear a cashmere sweater in light blue, brown boots and a white bag.

Dark green & black

Hallo ihr Hübschen,

heute habe ich einen der letzten "warmer Herbst"- Looks für euch. Ein eher simples und typisches Herbstoutfit aus oversize Pullover und einem Rock, das aber durch Accessoires aufgewertet wird.

Ein Alltagsoutfit, das man mit ein paar Strumpfhosen auch bei kälteren Temperaturen tragen kann. Damit das Outfit aber nicht zu langweilig wird, wertet man es mit ein paar Details auf. So wie bei diesem Outfit der Hut und die Fransen-Booties. - Ich liebe die Fransen-Details :) Zu dem dunkelgrünen flauschi Pulli habe ich einen schwarzen Faltenrock kombiniert. Dazu einen Hut mit Schleife-Detail.

Hello lovelies, 

Today I have one of the last "warm autumn"-looks for you. A rather simple and typical autumn outfit with an oversize sweater and a skirt, with some details that make it special. 

An everyday outfit that you can wear even in colder temperatures only add some tights.

To create a not too boring outfit, you enrich it with a few accessoires.

As with this outfit the hat and the fringed booties. - I love the fringed details :) To the dark green sweater I combined a black pleated skirt and a hat with bow detail.

Cream Knit in Antwerp

Hallo ihr Hübschen,

heute folgt der zweite Teil unseres ersten Tages in Antwerpen. Nach dem Mittagessen und ein Outfit später gings in die Altstadt von Antwerpen. Ich muss sagen Antwerpen ist eine wirklich unglaublich schöne Stadt und voller Altbauten. :) - Da schlägt das Kunsthistoriker-Herz höher :>

Am liebsten würde ich ja die Jahreszeit in der man Beinfreiheit ohne Strumpfhosen genießen kann, ins unendliche hinausziehen. Ich liebe diese Looks aus kuscheligen Oversized Pullovern in Kombination mit Shorts oder Röcken und Boots. Dabei liebe ich Farben wie braun, beige oder Khaki - eine der Herbstfarben dieses Jahr!

Für das Outfit wählte ich zu den Satinshorts mit Spitze einen oversize Pullover mit kleinem Rollkragen und Pistol Boots.

Ps.: Auf dem Weg in die Stadt fiel uns eine zuckersüße Katze auf, die sich in einem Restaurant mitten auf dem Tisch, hingebungsvoll ihrer Katzenwäsche hingab. Ich kam einfach nicht umher, rein zu gehen und sie zu streicheln. :D Verrückte Katzenlady :D :D

Hello lovelies, 

here comes the second part of our first day in Antwerp. After lunch and an outfit later we went to the old city of Antwerp. I must say Antwerp is a really incredibly beautiful city and full of old buildings with amazing architecture. :) - And my art historian heart beats faster :> 

I love the midseasons, in which you can enjoy to go out with bare legs without tights. I love these looks with snuggly oversized jumpers in combination with shorts or skirts and boots. In warm colors like brown, beige or khaki - what is one of the autumn colors this year! 

For this outfit I chose satin shorts with lace, an oversize sweater with a small turtleneck and Pistol Boots. 

Ps .: On the way to the town we noticed a sugary-sweet cat who was in a restaurant, in the middle of the table. I just could not help myself as to go inside and to pet her. :D -Crazy cat lady :D :D

Sweater and shorts

Guten Morgen ihr Süßen, es ist kaum zu glauben, aber wir haben schon Oktober. Und damit beginnt auch wieder das Semester, am Montag gehts dann auch schon mit einer Exkursion nach Bilbao los. Und wie immer ist das Referat noch nicht ganz fertig :D Aber ich freue mich schon riesig auf die Stadt und verspreche meine Eindrücke mit euch auf Instagram zu teilen, ich bin mir nämlich nicht sicher, ob ich dort zum bloggen kommen werde. Aber davor geht es jetzt erstmal, mit meiner besten Freundin, in das verlängerte Wochenende nach Antwerpen. :) Weshalb ich jetzt noch fix packen muss. - Ja, ich erledige Dinge sehr gerne erst in letzter Minute. Wer noch?! :D

Bevor ich aber losfahre wollte ich euch noch dieses Outfit zeigen. Ich liebe das Momentane Wetter und genieße es noch immer ohne Strumpfhosen raus gehen zu können. Für mich fühlt sich nichts schöner an, als warme Sonnenstrahlen auf nackter Haut.

Good morning lovelies, it's hard to believe, but we have already October. For me it means that the university starts again, but this semester starts in a nice way I think, with an excursion to Bilbao. And as always my presentation about the museum is not quite finished yet :D But I'm really looking forward to see the city and promise to share my impressions with you on Instagram, I hope I will have time to blog there. 

But before that, I will enjoy this weekend with my best friend in Antwerp. :) But my bags are not yet packed. - Yes, I am doing things at the last minute. Who else ?! : D 

But before we leave, I wanted to show this outfit.

I love the current weather, its still warm outside and you can go without tights. For me, nothing feels better than warm sunshine on bare skin.

Fall in love

Guten morgen ihr Lieben, nach zwei Wochen bin ich nun endlich wieder zurück in Düsseldorf. Ich liebe es meine Schwester in Berlin zu besuchen, weil es sich immer ein wenig wie Urlaub anfühlt, die Stadt ist einfach so vielfältig, das man das Gefühl verliert überhaupt in Deutschland zu sein. Nur das wechselhafte Wetter erinnert daran :D. Die letzten Tage in Berlin wurden wieder etwas kälter und es ohne Jacke richtig ungemütlich wurde, für den dicken Parka aber noch zu früh. An solchen Tagen mag ich leichtere Jacken, in den man morgens das Haus verlassen kann ohne zu frieren, aber auch nicht ohne Ende schwitzt sollte die Sonne doch wieder entscheiden rauszukommen. Auf die leichten Daunenjacken von Bomboogie wurde ich bereits wären der Bread&Butter aufmerksam. Für mich erfüllen sie alle Kriterien einer schönen Übergangsjacke, abgesehen von den tollen Farben, in den es sie gibt. Diese finde ich besonders schön für den Herbst, weil das Rostbraun perfekt zum Herbst passt. Dementsprechend habe ich auch das restliche Outfit in warmen Brauntönen gehalten, mit einer oversized Bluse in creme, Jeans und meinen geliebten Zara Boots, die ich mal sehr günstig im Sale gefunden habe. :)

Good morning sweeties, after two weeks in beautiful berlin I am finally back in Dusseldorf. 
I love to visit my sister in Berlin, because it always feels a little like a vacation, the city is just so different, it doesn't feels like Germany. Only the weather reminds you, that you are still in Germany :D. The last days in Berlin were a bit colder, it feels really uncomfortable without a jacket, but still to warm for the thick parka. On such days, I like lighter jackets, so you can leave the house in the morning without freezing, but also not sweat should the sun decide to come out again. For the first time I discovered the light down jackets from Bomboogie during the Bread&Butter. For me, they got all the criteria of a good transition jacket, apart from the great color selection they have. This, I think, is perfect for autumn, because the rust brown perfectly matches to the colors of fall. Therefore, I also kept the rest of the outfit in warm brown tones, like the oversized blouse in cream, jeans and my beloved Zara Boots, the found very low during sale. :)

Casual Friday: Shirtdress

Hallo meine Lieben, das schöne an Berlin ist ja, dass fast jeder Hinterhof hier eine perfekte Kulisse für ein Outfitshooting sein kann. Dafür liebe ich diese Stadt, immer wieder entdeckt man etwas Neues, etwas ungeahntes. Vielleicht habt ihr ja auf Instagram schon mitbekommen, dass ich seit einigen Tagen in Berlin bin. Was ich hier mache? Dogsitting :) Meine Schwester ist mit ihrem Freund verreist und ich passe auf den Hund auf. Auch wenn ich mich hier manchmal etwas verloren fühle, inzwischen habe ich die üblichen Touristentouren abgeklappert und dann wirds in so einer großen Stadt schnell langweilig, wenn man fast niemanden hier kennt. Zum Glück war meine beste Freundin am Mittwoch ebenfalls in Berlin und wir waren zusammen und noch einer Freundin bei der Eröffnung der Mall of Berlin. Ein wirklich gewaltiges, aber sehr schönes Einkaufszentrum. Man könnte da glaub ich den ganzen Tag verbringen und hätte immer noch nicht alle Shops durch. :D Falls ihr in Berlin seid, müsst ihr dort mal unbedingt vorbeischauen, die haben wirklich eine tolle Auswahl an Shops. :D 

Das Outfit haben meine Schwester und ich vor dem Abflug geschossen, als es wieder so richtig warm wurde. Das Shirtkleid fand ich schon lange toll, besonders wegen dem Rückenausschnitt aber irgendwie war es mir keine 40€ Wert. Als es dann auf 15€ runtergesetzt war, musste ich nicht lange überlegen. :D Dazu habe ich schwarze Boots und eine Statementkette kombiniert. Die bordeauxrote Tasche dazu ist ein farblicher Eyecatcher, zu dem sonst grau/schwarzem Outfit. Leider gehört diese meiner Schwester :-/ Aber ich schwöre, es ist wirklich nur Zufall, dass sie nach meinem Abflug verschwunden sein wird. :P

Hello my dears, the great thing about Berlin is, that almost every backyard can be a perfect location for an outfit shoot. Thats the reasons why I love this city, you always discover something new, something unexpected. 

Maybe you have already noticed it on Instagram that I'm in Berlin since a few days.

What am I doing here? Dogsitting :) My sister and her boyfriend are out of town with and I take care of the dog. But sometimes I feel lost here, I've already seen the usual tourist places and now it gets bored when you don't know anyone here. Luckily, my best friend was on Wednesday also in Berlin and we were together with a friend of her at the opening of Mall of Berlin. A really huge, but very nice mall. I think that one day wouldn't be enough, to shop through all the shops there. :D If you are in Berlin, I can recommend you to go there, they have a really great selection of shops. :) 

The outfit, I want to show you today, my sister and I shoot  a few day ago, before her vacation, as it was really warm again. I wanted this shirt dress for a long time, I like it especially because of the cut back, but for 40€ it was a little bit to expensive for me. As I saw it on sale for only 15€, I didn't have to think twice. :D For this look I combined black boots and a statement necklace. The burgundy red bag is a great eye catcher to the gray / black outfit. Unfortunately, the bag belongs to my sister :-/ But I swear, it's really just a coincidence, that it will be gone after I've leave berlin. :P
