Basics & Glam: Oversized sweater, a feather skirt and leo booties

Kennt ihr diese Teile, die man im Schrank hat und auf einen besonderen Anlass wartet, um sie zu tragen. - Meistens dauert es sehr lange, bis nie, bis es dann soweit ist und dieser Tag X gekommen ist. Im schlimmsten Fall ist das Teil dann Out oder ist zur Schrankleiche mutiert. 

Warum also nicht jeden Tag als etwas besonderes sehen. Ich meine damit nicht, dass wir jetzt alle in unserem Abiball-Kleid zur Uni gehen. Aber vllt. dass man öfters versuchen sollte "spezielle" Teile, so zu kombinieren, das sie auch alltagstauglich werden. Warum nicht einfach seinen Style zelebrieren?! 

Also holte ich meinen Federrock nach ein paar Jahren aus dem Schrank, suchte ihm den passenden Begleiter in Form eines oversize Sweater und kombinierte sie zu leo-Booties ( 

wenn schon, denn schon ;)) Und ich finde so ist der Federrock durchaus aus im Alltag tragbar, klar haben Menschen etwas geguckt. Aber hey, recht machen kann man es eh nicht jedem.  Deshalb Mädels, raus mit den guten Stücken! Oder wie seht ihr das? Everyone has those special pieces that have been in the closet, waiting for a special occasion to wear them. -In most cases it lasts until very long or never. Then when you feel ready to wear it, it's no more trendy or you decide for something different.

So why not making every day to a "special day". That doesn't mean we all should wear our prom dresses daily. But, I think, we should be more brave to wear those special pieces more often and not waiting for this special day. How? By mixing them with our casual pieces so that they are suitable for everyday use. I mean why not celebrate our own style ?!

So I got my feather skirt after a few years out of the closet, combined it with an oversized sweater and leo booties (I thought when I'm brave then I will be really brave)

Wearing it this way I think the feather skirt is definitely ready for everyday wear. Of course people have looked at me. - But hey who cares, people will always stare. Casual look, the fancy way

Was braucht man, um einem simplen Outfit in wenigen Minuten, ein Upgrade zu verpassen? Manchmal nicht mehr als ein paar Schuhe. In meinem Fall sind es die Leo Ankle Boots, die dem Look das Styleupgrade verpassen. Der Rest ist schlicht gehalten, ein khakigrüner Pullover, Boyfriend-Hemd und Jeans. Ich mag solche Outfits besonders gern, die eigentlich ganz einfach sind und doch das gewisse "Etwas" haben. Wie gefällt euch der Look?

What do you need to upgrade a simple outfit in only a few minutes? Sometimes not more than a pair of shoes. In my case it's the Leo Ankle Boots, which give the whole look a style upgrade. The rest I kept simple with a khaki green sweater, boyfriend shirt and blue jeans.

I like those outfits, comfy, casual, but chic. And especially when the look is kept simple with a special "something". How do you like the look?

Before munich

Hello Sweeties, an exciting and busy week is behind me. I was in Munich, took part at the Fleet Meet in Dusseldorf and at the New Faces Award Fashion as a VIP Guest of BUNTE. The images will follow soon, but first here is my outfit from last Sunday before going to Munich. The drive took about 6 hours, so I chose a comfy outfit. Simple black with animal print details.

Hallo ihr Lieben, eine aufregende und ereignisreiche Woche liegt hinter mir. Ich war in München, beim Fleet Meet in Düsseldorf und auf dem New Faces Award Fashion. Die Bilder werden bald folgen, aber zunächst noch mein Outfit vom vorletzten Sonntag bevor es nach München ging. Die Autofahrt dauerte ca. 6 Std und deshalb entschied ich mich für ein bequemes Outfit für die Autofahrt. Simples Schwarz mit Animalprint-Details.
